Description Two languages differ not only in vocalic and consonantic inventories but also in the way the articulatory settings work. In this lecture I describe and make a comparison between Czech and Dutch articulatory settings and I also argue which articulatory settings should be taken in consideration for didactic reasons. Last but not least I argue which articulatory settings - those of Northern Dutch or those of Southern Dutch should be used as a model.
