| Description | The purpose of the lecture “Interpretation possibilities of the verb "faa" and its occurrence in Norwegian newspaper articles“ was to introduce the problem of the Norwegian verb "faa" that has a specific position in the Norwegian language. This lecture was based on my bachelor thesis. I presented the abovementioned verb that can not only have a function of main verb, but it can act also as an auxiliary verb. I presented also the results of the practical part of my bachelor thesis which was based on theoretical knowledge and examined to what extent the aforementioned meanings of the verb occur in the Norwegian press, more specifically in the newspapers Aftenposten, DN and VG. This lecture was held during the Humanities Week 2016 at the Masaryk University. |
