| Description | The paper is focused on the analysis of aesthetical, arts-crafts, historical values and functions of the objects from the exhibition „the Art of KITSCH“. These objects are porcelain products, namely figural porcelain sculptures, that are often on the edge of kitsch. Porcelain statuettess carry many qualitative factors – their historical value is in reference to the tradition of porcelain factories and their design refers to arts-crafts perfection. Nonetheless, it is difficult to get an artistic value and create a product that is not only decorative and is not kitsch in the same time. |
