| Description | The study presents a typology of the Czech 16th century travelogue, especially literary reflection of visits to the Holy Land. It follows traditional formalized procedures of its presentation and its attempts to an innovative approach. A particular attention is paid to the travelogue by Kryštof Harant of Polžice and Bezdružice as a representative of the text with a wide intertextual background. |
