| Description | The main aim of this paper is to develop a discussion of the concept of music history. How to create musical history? The study of Vladimír Helfert Periodisace dějin hudby. Příspěvek k logice hudebního vývoje (1938) is interpreted and questioned in the form of associative analysis. It is confronted with current and contemporary approaches. An integral text output is also a reflection of Helfert's own methodological legacy in music history works. |
