| Description | Schmelzer’s serenatas Hercules und Onfale and Die sieben Alter stimmen zusammen composed for Archduchess Maria Antonia Habsburg (1669–1692) represent and exceptional group. Among the dominant Italian operatic production of Imperial Court are these two works really unique. The goal of the contribution is to evaluate a current state of research, as well as preserved manuscript instrumental and vocal parts, form of mentioned compositions and their music. |
