| Description | This paper deals with the everyday life of working class in Brno and their attitude to cinema as a leisure activity. The analysis of film programmes between 1935 and 1939 suggested the model of viewers' preferences and programme strategies of the cinema operators, with the addition of personal memories of the contemporaries that visited these cinemas. |
