| Description | The aim of this contribution is to provide a picture of the present-day situation of language of Christmas crib model makers on the Czech territory. The analysed vocabulary is based on research carried out in selected locations between 2013 and 2016. The contribution is focused on the comparison of situation in the particular regions where the research was carried out and also on the developmental tendencies of language of contemporary Christmas crib model makers. All kinds of factors influencing character of the recorded vocabulary are dealt with: its specific features are presented, significant aspects relating to etymology as well as proportions of the individual semantic fields, differences among respondents from locations where the research was carried out etc. The topic dealt with has not been systematically investigated so far. |
