Description In the paper the attention is payed to the one particular charter which was issued as an affirmation of the election of the Prague bishop Tobias, which, nevertheless, is lost now, and we do have only one mention about the charter in so called Second continuation of the Kosmas chronicle, or to be more precise, in the part which is traditionally called The Narration about the tough years after the death of the Bohemian king Přemysl Otakar II. The paper would like to offer some remarks on the memory about the charter in mentioned chronicle as well as about the legal content of the charter in connection with the permeation of the Canon law into the bohemian society and therefore into the charters in the end of the thirteenth and beginning of fourteenth centuries.
