| Description | The presentation aimed to shed light on the way the well known Rajhrad Altarpiece (also called Altarpiece of the Holy Cross or Olomouc Altarpiece) has been studied in the past decades. There are still numerous unresolved problems that concern mainly the dating and the provenience of the altarpiece. This lead the art historical research in the 20th century to a lot of imagination and ideas that are reflecting the current state of the discipline of art history as well as many social and political aspects. |
