| Description | The paper aims to identify some differences in grammatical category number in Slavic languages, which in its semantics and means of expression is almost identical in all Slavic languages. Our interest is aimed at those nouns that exist in language only in singular form (singularita tantum) or plural form (pluralia tantum) and to their translation equivalents in Slavic context with an emphasis on translation practice especially regarding to the potential occurrence of linguistic interference. |
