Description The archaeological excavations at the early medieval burial ground Dětkovice - Za zahradama were organized in 2000, 2009, 2010 and 2013. There were uncovered skeletal remains of 131 individuals (68 sub-adults and 63 adults) in 134 graves at the necropolis. Among the adults, 31 skeletons were determined as males, 31 as females and 1 individual as undetermined. Most of the sub-adults were classified into the category infans Ib (0.5-6 years), with a mortality peak between the first and third year of life. The majority of female skeletal remains were classified into the younger adult category (adultus II), whereas more than two thirds of males lived until the older adult age. Subsequent anthropological analyses, including genetic, will be carried out.
