Description | Tripartite castle in Plumlov at the top of the hill town with remnants removed castle from the 13th and 14th century. Bailey walls define the edges of the salient and established the Lords of Kravaře. In 1613-1618 is Prince Charles of Liechtenstein replaced by four late Renaissance bastions. Their headquarters genus previously fortified (Mikulov - torions, Hohenau - roundels, Valtice - two bastions in overtime lock Wilfersdorf Rabensburg - four). Turkish pressure and the Thirty Years War led to the emergence topped fortifications Uherský Ostroh a fortified castle in Opava, along with the city. Plumlov fortification monument deserves treatment and recovery, incl. high chateau from the years 1680-1688 at the south end of complex. |
