Description The paper aims to present an overall evaluation of artefacts (pottery, daub, red dye and chipped stone industry) obtained by flotation of soil samples from the intact filling of roundel ditch in Těšetice-Kyjovice during its revision excavation (August 2012). From the aspect of environmental history is valuable assessment of malacozoology samples that reveals not only the natural environment at the site, but suggests the dynamics of filling the ditch. The hitherto radiocarbon dates from the earlier phase of the Lengyel Culture extend two new radiocarbon dates.
