| Description | The paper deals with a specific metaphor scheme using the theory of metaphor defined by Lakoff and Johnson to reveal the directions of creating these metaphors in contemporary Bulgarian language. The metaphor “political life is a sky with stars” is very active and productive in the Bulgarian language. This could be proved by the various itemizations of this metaphor in the political language. We analyzed critically the on-line editions of the most popular Bulgarian press. |
