| Description | This paper is concerning with gendered factors of establishing selected czech high schools for girls in the Ostrava, Opava and Teschen Silesia region at the beginning of the 20th century until the 30´s. The main attention is focused on preference of specialized or general higher girl´s education and a conservative concept of feminity on Marie Matulová and Slezská Matice Osvěty lidové in Teschen Silesia Region. |
