Description Salicylic acid belongs to a group of plant growth regulators and funkcions as an important plant signaling compound that is synthesized as a response to various pathogenic attacks or environmental stress. It significantly affects various plant processes like flowering or thermogenesis. In this study, a reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method for determination od SA a related intermediates was developed. The method was applied for analysis of white willow bark and commercial dietary supplements.
