Description | This presented study focuses on the life and career of Jan Fibich, forester in the 19th century. Jan Fibich spent his life at the estates of the princely family of Auersperg. He retired on a pension to the South Moravian town Adamov, where he died. The evidence for the study is made up of registers of birth and deaths, documents from the former Nasavrky estate and available literature. On the basis of the archive material, a profile of a significant forester was created, which at least partly fills the white space in memory. |
