Description Impulsive behavior occurs in many patients with different mental disorders, substantially complicates patients' everyday functioning and can have serious consequences. Impulsivity is a multidimensional construct, however, it has not been entirely cleared yet which specific dimensions it includes. Moreover, there is lack of studies regarding impulsivity in the Czech literature. The present article deals with personality models of impulsivity, specifically with the two currently most influential models, the Barratt Scale and the UPPS-P Scale.
