| Description | The entry in the extensive Encyclopaedia of Czech Legal History explains the right of abode from its codification to its abolition. The entry not only provides the chronological development of the laws that were part of the right of abode, but also its antecedent in the form of political domicile. The verbatim quotes from German laws relating to this issue were translated for the first time into Czech. The author offered an interpretation of the problematic legal terms in relation to their application at the time. |
