| Description | The integration of Sudeten Germans wasn´t easy process, despite of a fact, that many people think it was. This article is part of dissertation which is dedicated to integration process of Sudeten Germans in West Germany after the Second World War. Especially is focused on inhabitants of former Sternberg district, on their life in new homeland, on memoires of home and integration in the new society. This article, based on available sources, relates to perception of immigrants to specific towns in Bavaria. Was the view on immigrants somehow changed? How has developed social status of immigrants? Which questions, connected with immigrants, were most interesting for mainstream society? Was the society somehow changed by arrival of newcomers? |
