| Description | At the heart of the philosophy of perception are the problems of illusion and hallucination that undermine or even cancel our common understanding of how do we get awareness of the world. Conceptual solutions in the field of language, mind, and the world currently offer equivalent opposing positions. Can they be undermined from an empirical standpoint? And how can a conceptual approach help other cognitive sciences? The paper briefly presents the main theory of perception, their implications, and shows the continuity of the philosophy of perception on cognitive sciences. |
