Description In this paper, the authors first outlined the general interconnectedness between jurisprudence and economics. Showing the two disciplines are relatively independent and autonomous, the authors emphasized the areas in which a so-called multidisciplinary overlap is required. In the second part of this paper, the authors selected two typical economic and legal institutes – money and currency, on which they explained the necessity of applying the interdisciplinary approach.
