Description The purpose of the research was to capture the evolution of conditions for creative economy development in the Czech Republic. The Creativity index was determined for individual regions in 2011-2015 by calculating a number of sub-indexes in the talent, technology, and tolerance fields. In the following phrase, the research identified an average growth rate of the Creativity index. Subsequently, the average growth rate of the Creativity index was measured and graphically displayed on a cartogram. Finally, a situational and a trend creativity matrix was created, which splits the regions into four quadrants (to leaders, raising regions, latecomers, and declining regions).
