| Description | The author of the present study deals with the book of the Russian emigré Valerii Vilinskii, man of a tragic fate, son of a contract professor of Masaryk University Sergii Vilinskii, A Russian Looks at the C.S.R. He sees the project of Czechoslovakia and the Czechoslovak nation both with scepticism and as a useful experiment; in this point his conception supported by detailed analyses transcends towards the contemporary experiments with the formation of supranational entities. The author then compares Vilinskii’s conception of Slovakia with that expressed in the book by Josef Jirásek published in 1947. |
