Description | Josef Mühlberger wrote his two works in 1952 and 1954 for a traumatized public. The events of the war were filtered aesthetically, only the horrors of expulsion in his stories became more brutal. The Nietzsche quote from the title was a conciliatory gesture of Mühlberger towards his readers and looks quite old fashioned now. |
