Description The paper presents partial outputs of the current EU project focusing on the development of key competences through the community of teachers and academics. Examples of schools involved in the project include research analyzes of school education programs focusing on educational content developing literacy for the 21st century, namely information and digital literacy. The contribution thus illustrates the possible approaches of primary school practice to the competency concept of teaching that is theoretically defined in the Digital Education Strategy by 2020.
