Description | The Paper concerns the newly initiated subculture of art collecting of non-conform artists during so-called standardization. Key period seems to be between 1972–1977, when the essences of many important collections, now often legitimized within the framework of public art museums, were generated. The paper follows the origins and genesis of this new wave of art collectors, formed predominantly by young representatives of cultural intelligence from the generation of the 1940s. |
