Description The article reports on finding of Cirsium brachycephalum, a critically endangered species of the Czech flora, near village Hevlín in the south-eastern part of Znojmo District. The site conditions and vegetation composition of the newly discovered locality is characterised. The paper summarises historical and current distribution of this species in the Czech Republic.
