Description There is something magical about the aerial view. It allows us to see common things in a new light. Thanks to the rise of drones and their availability to virtually everyone, the aerial view has become a new standard. However, there are many not so obvious implications to it. The lecture will firstly make a brief introduction into the realm of unmanned aircraft and a history of aerial photography. Then we will examine in more depth a theoretical background of taking photos from the air, what does it presuppose, imply, and mean.
