Description | The fourth age, i.e. aging with varying degrees of disability, represents a topic that has been dealt with in the Czech context especially in the context of care and quality. People in the fourth age represent a heavily heterogeneous group, which is not very visible. The paper focuses on negotiation of the form of everyday life, preservation making decisions about yourself and reconstructing your own identity and feeling meaningfulness in the context of care negotiations. It comes from Research Project "Fourth Age: Identity of Disability in a Time of Active Aging "(GA15-03156S) solved in the years 2015-2017 and is based on repeated interviews with ten people in the fourth age and their carers and a four-week ethnographic observation in households of people using terrain nursing service. |
