Description Domenico Martinelli (1650-1718) became one of the important representatives of the newly advancing Baroque architecture during his stay in Vienna and Moravia. In our artistic and historical tradition, Václav Richter, Professor of the University of Brno Václav Richter "discovered" him. Today, especially thanks to the work of Viennese colleagues, we know much more about its architectural style. We can see one of the important streams of Baroque academy that we meet all over Europe at the beginning of the 18th century in the examples of its implementation in Moravia. The lecture recalled the anniversary of the death of this prominent architect.
