Description | The text addresses questions about human aggression, viewed from different points of view, from philosophy, psychology, religion. Aggressive researchers have a different understanding of what it actually is and whether it can be judged to be a negative or a positive phenomenon. We present a number of definitions of aggression, emphasizing that there are many definitions, none of which can be considered comprehensive and widely used. Tracking the everyday meanings of aggression, it becomes more than obvious that the concept of aggression is overwhelming. The very manifestations of aggression can be expressed verbally, non-verbally, physically or mentally, can be directed at people, objects, animals, etc. The manifestations of aggression in our times represent a reflection of modern times, of technical progress and of the development of information technologies, which surrounds us everywhere and is manifested in every sphere of our lives. |
