Description | The article examines motives of grief and fear and their narrative implementation in Gruber's Minutes of Fear. The goal is to show how the loss of meaning can easily bring the perception of reality into the absurd. Existently urgent life situations can be experimentally constructed by the narrator and administered as an antidote to depression or lethargy. Even Camus insists that the absurd is a sting to rebellion, not a slide into despair. |
