Description The aim is to present the outcomes of a survey which was focused on educational research transfer between academics and teachers from a general point of view, and to find out the state of the art of educational/research knowledge transfer between academics and teachers in the Czech Republic from their point of view. The transfer is influenced by a number of actors´ (academics and teachers) activities (and involved barriers), by their characteristics, by the characteristics of product (innovation, knowledge), and by social context (Rogers, 2003, Havelock, 1971). I analyzed all these variables to identify the state of the art of the transfer process from actors’ point of view. I present here only the most interesting part of research findings.
