Description In the presentation I focused to introduce the major trade routes and monastery networks between Ethiopia and Christian communities in the area of the Eastern Mediterranean and the Red Sea. An example of Ethiopian wall painting in the Däbrä Maryam Qorqor church, dating from 1280 to 1330, then was used to explain the role of communication between these Christian communities in Ethiopian painting.
