Description The aim of the paper is to describe a group of students of vocational upper – secondary schools who use one of the types of career guidance services, in particular career counselling. This group of students is described by a set of demographic features (gender, age, the level of school-leaving exam of upper – secondary vocational education, education achieved by their parents) and a set of features that are considered risk factors of early school leaving (change of school/field of study during studies, low educational aspirations, bad school achievement of students, dissatisfaction with the choice of field of study of a vocational upper – secondary school). The paper is based on the data collected during March-May 2018 by questionnaires for students of the last years of studies in the field of vocational upper – secondary schools in the South Moravian and Moravian-Silesian Regions answering the question which students use career counselling.
