Description For the time being, Early and Old Eneolithic chipped stone industry is little known from published sources. Also in a wider context, a considerable publishing gap still exists between chipped stone industry of the Lengyel Culture and of the Bell Beaker Culture, even though individual details have gradually been published in the past few years and some of the numerous still unanalysed surface collections offer a high potential for further knowledge. The assemblage acquired during an archaeological rescue excavation in 2006 is particularly valuable with regard to distributional and technological information which can elucidate in detail the still incompletely explained production and usage of chipped stone industry in the Early and Old Eneolithic.
