Citation
Description The paper briefly introduced the life and literary work of Simon of Tišnov (ca. 1370–1432), a contemporary of John Hus, a defender of Wycliffe's philosophy, a propagator of Hussitism and later also its opponent. Moreover, it focused on Simon's defence of "evangelic doctor" John Wycliffe, which was held in Prague at June 29th, 1410, and in which Simon defended Wycliffe's treatise titled De probationibus propositionum which is also known under the title Logicae continuatio. The paper also discussed the contents of the defence including the selected problems concerning the production of its critical edition.
