Description The modelling of the rainfall-runoff process is one of the basic geographic disciplines in which all the components of the physical geographic and socio-economic environment are interconnected. Simulation of erosion phenomena goes hand in hand with the modelling of these processes. At present, both disciplines focus on modelling processes caused by extreme rainfall events with strong manifestations in the landscape (floods, soil degradation). Observations from recent years clearly show that the frequency of occurrence of such events is increasing. In the research, we work with GIS tools and relatively readily available data, detectable and customized field measurements. We apply empirical, mathematical or physical methods to the GIS environment. Applied models are AIZM, USLE, RUSLE, MUSLE, USPED, EROSION and others. The results are confronted with real values, such as the height of the flow, sedimentation in the reservoir. We compare the provisional results with the measured / observed data. Our previous results show that even with relatively simple modelling procedures, it is possible to achieve relevant outputs.
