| Description | Kateřina Oujezdská is a Czech casting director and an acting agent. She is the founder and director of a company called KO CASTING and secures casting for various film, stage and tv projects and commercials. She cooperates with leading Czech directors such as Petr Zelenka, David Ondříček or Radim Špaček. After years in casting she decided, together with Barbora Fabiánová, to establish a managing agency for Czech actors called KO AGENCY. The interview brings insight into the rarely reflected area of Czech casting and touches upon topics such as the lack of university based film acting education or the perception of casting as a creative profession. |
