Citation
Description This article presents the general description of the different materials located between the documentary archives of the RTVE archive around Leoš Janáček (1854-1928), as part of a wider research dedicated to the reception of the works of the Moravian composer in Spain. Starting from a first section devoted to scientific studies and the general situation of Leoš Janáček in the current research, with special emphasis on the lack of bibliographic resources published in Spanish, a first approach to the history of composer´s works performances in Spain is presented later, and finally the article reaches his main object, namely, the typological description of the various resources related to Leoš Janáček that could be found specifically in the RTVE archive. Therefore, the article exposes the different references to the composer in the press (mentions in newspapers, teletypes, music magazines and other information media), audio recordings and video recordings (concerts, musical programs, interviews and other documentation), as well as other bibliographical resources of interest, which constitutes an important documentary corpus really fundamental for the exhaustive study of the reception of the works of Leoš Janáček in Spain.
