| Description | J. A. Komenský wasn’t the key theme of Šalda’s monumental work. Nevertheless, the Czech critic was interested in Komenský’s work and he wrote several important articles about him. This study will show what was Šalda’s way to see Komenský and what part of Komenský’s legacy he found relevant, especially for the new Czechoslovakian state and its ideology. Therefore, there will be given special attention to Šalda’s view on connection between Komenský a Masaryk. |
