Description The Framework for Higher Education Development points out the the specifics of the present generation of students. One of them is students´dropout from their studies. Current research shows that this trend is not caused by a massification of higher education and lower student requirement, but one of the important factors is the student's assessment of the quality of teaching. However, university teachers may not have any pedagogical training to compare with teachers at lower levels of education. Realization of quality teaching becomes so much more difficult for them. In our contribution, we would like to present the results of research in the area of support for the university teachers in relation to the increase of the quality of teaching and the possible reduction of study failure.
