Description The article presents the building history of the Alinkovský dvůr as revealed by a building-historical survey, the results of which offer an alternative version of the original function of the site. In contrast to the hitherto preferred interpretation of Alinkov as a primarily neo-Christian settlement, we present the site as a country manor house with farm buildings. Of these, the south-west wing, identified with high probability as a Renaissance brewery, is particularly dominant. The central building of the former manor house was converted into a mill in the 18th century and lost much of its former appearance through further destruction. The text uses sources and artefacts supported by dendrochronology to show the changes in the appearance of the site up to the mid-20th century.
