| Description | The aim of the paper was to present the results of an empirical survey aimed at finding out what parents' expectations should be met by their child's teacher at primary school and which professional, personality and skills they consider most important. The examined sample consisted of the mothers of preschool and younger school age children. I chose a semi-structured interview. I used a dictaphone for recording the conversation.
