Description | The presentation deals with sports communication in the ancient world. The first of all, great Panhellenic Games are described; the second part is dedicated to the sports communication until the rise of Macedonia (Archelaus, Philipp, Alexander) and Macedonian Olympic Games. Finally, the changes during the reign of Alexander the Great and after his death and hellenism are analysed, as well as the Roman Period and gladiators and agitatores. The presentation focuses on athletics guilds and wandering fashion of the professionals athletes too. |
