Description The aim of the presentation is to present the results of an intervention study with explorative-interpretive qualitative design, which was concerned with an analysis of the speech-based self-evaluation statements of the german as a foreign language students in tertiary education. On the one hand self-evaluation sheets worked on with the learners in the classroom were used to collect the data, on the other hand the so-called self-transcribing and the methods of thinking aloud und introspection were used.
