| Description | Šumava as a landscape on Czech-Bavarian border was always a place where two different language cultures met – this is also illustrated by the local literature. With the regard to the theory of spatial turn and to social geography the conference paper seeks to answer, how the border is portrayed in the literature of Šumava and how the border as a motif contributes to perception of this landscape. |
