Description | The objective of this presentation was (1) to inform the audience that periodical abstinence is the only contraceptive method possible for Catholic Christians, (2) to remind the audience of current gynecological problems such as the global epidemic of unintended pregnancies and their consequences just as spread of sexually transmitted infections, (3) to show the audience the connection between the former and the latter, and hence the need of starting a dialogue with representatives of the Catholic Church about rethinking its position on contraception and family planning services. |
